Actress, screenwriter and director Lori Petty spent time in Evansville while filming 'A League Of Their Own'. As Kit Keller, the spunky younger sister to Geena Davis' character Dottie Hinson, Petty filmed a large number of her scenes at Historic Bosse Field ('home' to the Racine Belles).

Lori was delighted to join our campaign and we thought it appropriate for her to adopt a tree within a stone's throw of Bosse Field.
